That gives them a place to go, that suits their temperament, after death, So they feel at home and comfortable there, associating with like-minded people.

It is the world their minds, in cooperation with one another creates.

It may seem ugly but it emanates from its inhabitants souls, and it's where they feel comfortable, emotionally.
