To win a debate we need to stick to specifics

Debates based on generalities cannot ever really be won or lost, but those based on specifics can be.

In the vaccine debate specific details need to be targeted if one wishes to make a point.

For example, a person could ask:
What controls were used in the Gardasil vaccine trials and do you think these were a fair choice?

This will lead people to doing research of their own, and perhaps even thinking a little bit.

When people realize that vaccine trials don't use inert placebos they will then question whether vaccine testing is truly scientific and therefore whether vaccine use is also scientific.

This all comes from focusing on specific facts rather than arguing about general trends in  health and disease that could be attributed to anything.
