If we wish to truly understand a field of knowledge we must discover what is actually known, as opposed to what is widely believed to be known.

Sometimes these two things can be miles apart.

We must look at SOURCE DATA and its reliability and meaning, and not rely soley on statustical analysis or conclusions drawn.

Conclusions are not true data, they can be false, or incomplete, and should not be relied upon as a statement of knowledge or truth.
