"Owning the land" doesn't give us the moral right to do with it whatever we choose

For example, we have no moral claim to interfere with the lives of the trees on the land, for example.

Trees belong to themselves as we do. We have no moral authority over them, whatsoever and we should leave them alone, or at least no impede their lives.

As we don't wish anyone to impede ours.
