Is the purpose of compulsory schooling to keep people in an infantile state, constantly having to bow down before an authority that is imposed on them, never getting to explore their interests and passions, but instead forced to passively regurgitate what others tell them is important, so that they will readily accept employer and government control over their lives when they are adults?
