Although I am deeply critical of the medical industry for a number of moral / economic reasons, I still appreciate some of the services and products it offers.
Examples:
1. antibiotics are there if a catastrophic bacterial attack occurs and your body needs help fighting it off.
2. Modern emergency care is extremely impressive, and one is confident of receiving good results in a modern clinic.
3. Pain killers. Only the modern doctor or tribal Sharman has access to the power of the opium plant.
