We need to question the advice of experts

I trusted dentists. They filled my mouth with mercury. I trusted a mechanic. He said repairs on my car were worth more than the car and to retire it. It turned out to be a $20 repair job that I did myself and the car still goes well 2 years on. They are two example of bad advice from "experts".

It pays to question things and not take anything at face value, and thanks to the internet there's no excuse not to.
