I would suggest not only is it the Sith who deal in absolutes but also any true believer in worldly and religious doctrine. For example, many who folks who profess a belief in "science" are convinced of the absolute reality of many theories that are thought "scientific". They don't accept that these things are purely conjecture or our best understanding at the time. Instead they believe these theories are eternal truths that will never be disproven.
