The only spiritual sin

The only spiritual sin is said to be interfering with, or overriding, the free will of another.

Many worldly sins fit into this category.  Examples include: assault, murder, rape, kidnap.

But the spiritual sin goes beyond many recognized worldly sins.

Any action or threat of action used to influence and override the free will of another fits into this category.

This is true whether an individual is bullying another or if an organization or government is doing it.

Obviously, there are some exceptions to this rule such as when someone is unknowingly putting themselves in danger and someone attempts to help them which may be common with young children.

Otherwise we need to learn to respect each other and the choices we make and no attempt to bully others into living life according to our rules.
