I've always considered myself a citizen of New York,

though I've never lived there.

To me, it's more an inner state

An acceptable of your fellow man

And an appreciation of a global perspective

On things

To me New York is the international city,

That sees the big picture

And accepts every type of man

Who is respectful

Of one another.

And allows each the space

To live life as they wish to live it.
