People who agree with the manufactured consensus on a subject rarely look deeply into it because they're happy just to belong to the herd.
For most people this is more important than knowing the truth of a matter.
Sure, some will research within the accepted bounds of approved opinions, but they dare not go beyond that in case they realise the consensus opinion is actually garbage- just a PR creation of vested interests, parroted by the media and sell-out, "approved" experts, in the echo chamber that is the corporate or establishment media.
