The common, idiotic level of debate about conspiracies is quite possibly part of the conspiracy! That is: the idea that either everything is part of a conspiracy or that nothing is. Both positions are equally ridiculous.
Finding out what is and what isn’t the result of activity by shadowy forces seeking power is the challenge, of course!
Lumping everyone into the two extremes of no conspiracy vs. total conspiracy is a way of making the whole area of research seem ridiculous, preventing investigation by impressionable folk, thus allowing the conspirators to continue on their merry way, causing havoc!
