Moral testing of new substances

The only moral testing of a new substance (or medical technique) is upon oneself, starting with a small dose and then increasing it, or upon other adult humans that have given informed consent.

It is immoral to test such substances on prisoners (human or animal) or soldiers, who have not, or are incapable of, giving consent.

This is obvious to any thinking and feeling person who respects all life and the various forms it takes and recognizes the sin of interfering with another beings free will and biological integrity.

The idea that other life forms are there to do with as we wish, including torturing them for negligible supposed gain, is not one I share, even if it remains common in some ignorant circles at the moment.
