Do imperfect conditions disprove a loving God?

Perfection can only be measured in relation to some goal.

What if the goal of life on earth is soul growth, best achieved by living as a free being among other free beings?

Once free will is established amongst a population, misuse and destructive outcomes may occur as part of the learning process. Hence, widespread, seemingly "imperfect" conditions may arise, as we currently see on earth.

I understand many attribute these "imperfect conditions" to either an incompetent (or non-existent) God, or due to an uncaring natural process, such as Darwin's theory of natural selection.

But what if these conditions are primarily a reflection of human mass consciousness, rather than some outside process?

What if the answer to an imperfect world lies with us all raising our consciousness and growing in wisdom?  In that world paradise may arrive, or at near to one as is possible, given the limitations of physicality.

Either way, we don't need to believe in a God as much as our own power to change things for the better.
