A lot of people like to think they know the truth about things
but the truth is-
we are all brainwashed!
Just because my brainwashing is different to your brainwashing
doesn't mean one of us is right and the other wrong.
We may both be wrong!
Most of this brainwashing comes from "authorities"
but how much do these "authorities" really know?
After all, they have been brainwashed as we all have,
perhaps to a greater extent than we have!
After all, to get into a position of authority
you have to be (or pretend to be)
a true believer in whatever dogma
your organisation promotes!
And the idea that consensus means truth
is clearly a statement of someone who is
ignorant of history!
Realizing the fact of our own ignorance and brainwashing
should result in us acting with a little more humility
when dealing with other people
with whom we disagree!
