One of my current gripes is with people who speak with absolute certainty about things they couldn't possibly know for sure!
Admitting our uncertainty and the limits of our knowledge increases our credibility, not reduces it!
False certainty, in the form of arrogance, makes us look like a fool to anyone with real knowledge on a subject.
Instead, be wise and admit what you don't know, particularly to your self, where it is most important, and save yourself from looking like a fool when you see what an ignoramus you once were!
