How to healthfully interact with the medicinal community

(Note: These are my opinions only. Your life is your own and so are your decisions. You will bear responsibility for what you decide, not me or your doctor.)

1. Avoid doctors and hospitals unless genuine help is needed for a health condition you can't manage by yourself.
2. Take nothing they say on face value. Research things yourself if you don't fully understand what is being discussed.
3. Use natural therapies and lifestyle changes before taking drastic action such as undergoing surgery, chemotherapy or radiation. Use these things only as a last resort, if you are convinced they are helpful and necessary, once you have tried all other safer options first.
4. Make sure you are making the decisions, not a doctor or healthcare worker, as it will be you who bears the consequences of your actions or inactions, not the doctor.
