Disease conditions in poor, overcrowded countries bear no relation to the conditions in rich countries. Data from those countries means nothing about whether one should receive a vaccine in one’s home country.
As for saving the herd and stamping out disease… if 90%+ vaccination rates for decades for a target disease hasn’t done the job then maybe we should be looking at the limitations of the vaccines and not trying to harass the small number of people who don’t want them into receiving them.
