But not majority beliefs.

It's not as if the majority believing something makes it true.

Only true to them.

It is often minority beliefs that go on to be correct, and their lack of popularity is often more to do with the preferences of powerful elites, than it does to do with what is actually logical, in the cold light of day.

People get caught up in a fervour, even the more "rational" thinking ones!
