In my view no product, service or activity should be mandated. When we take power away from the individual and hand it to the state we are moving backwards towards totalitarianism and a poorer life for everybody.
Only the individual should get to decide what is best for them and what their life should look like, not distant unelected bureaucrats, who are subject to brainwashing (groupthink) and corrupting influences.
