... As more seasoned folk usually have a broader, more skeptical and temperate view!

Mature folk understand the value of their beliefs, but do not demand anyone else share them.

Fanatics, in contrast, want to force their fearful beliefs on everyone!  They are too weak, spiritually, to stand alone!
