(1) I am of the opinion that a belief in a beneficent spiritual reality, including a merciful, fair and wise God, is useful in promoting a fulfilling and beneficial life to the average practitioner.
(2) I believe in free choice (to become a Muslim or not).
However, I do not support anyone forcing their values on other people or expecting them to live by their beliefs. For a functioning, peaceful society we must accept that every person has the right to their own beliefs, and should not be forced to renounce them or be discriminated against because their beliefs are not orthodox.
