When they let their guard down animals are very sweet things, it's not this tooth and claw thing that is the message that public science often sends out. Yes, predatory behaviour exists in the wild, through necessity, but it doesn't mean that the creatures involved aren't mild and loving when they are not in hunting or protection mode!
