Some people confuse intuition, or what some call subtle feelings or instinct, with emotions, but they are very different things. Intuition is our response to a situation prior to thought, whereas emotions generally stem from our thoughts about a situation, which means the situation is processed through our mind and emotions are generated as a result of that. Emotions are subject to conditioning whereas intuition comes prior to our conditioned response and is felt in the body. Intuition could be said to be our body or soul's response to a scenario, that is felt in our body or energy system rather than the mental construct that our thoughts represent.
