The battle to control the narrative

What is interesting right now is the battle taking place to control the narratives of the world.

Google has taken up the establishment baton from the "legacy" media, and Wikipedia is also on board.

Still there remain those "pesky dissenters", whose numbers have swelled since the uptake of the internet, disseminating non-establishment views.

Significant efforts have recently been made to put a lid on this spread of dissent and the "adpocalypse" on YouTube and widespread censoring of Google search results are major parts of this process.

Additionally, the legacy media is engaged in this battle by engaging in the targeting, misrepresenting and smearing of groups promoting alternative views.


This process seems to be heating up at the moment and it will be interesting to see where it leads.
