We often hear about how "deadly" Australian wildlife is, but we can safely say that there is not one animal on the Australian continent that sees human beings are a source of food.
There are no big cats, such as lions, tigers, etc, in Australia, nor are there bears, wolves, or any other animal large enough to kill a human on purpose.
Yes, Australia has potentially deadly snakes and spiders, but with a bit of care these shouldn't present any problem. We just have to take care where we step and where we put out hands.
