The true political battle, which lies under the radar...

Is between...

(1) Those who want a one world government, ruled by technocrats - public servants using scientific decision making techniques,

Ruling over the whole of humanity, micromanaging and social engineering us to be better global citizens.

and,

(2) Those opposed to such a conglomeration of power.

Opposition to the global conglomerates is amongst those that distrust increased concentrations of power - more power in hands of fewer people,

Particularly when it is placed in the hands of people in another country whose interests and values may not equate to ones own, and may in fact, be opposed,

And who may be impossible to remove, through general elections.

This struggle is currently framed as globalists v nationalists.

There is a third group, which I belong to: the localists. Decision making by locals for local decisions, not impositions from far lands.

Realising the need for national and state governments, given the current age, but ceding what power one can down the local and individual level.
