It is the hidden empires of the established families that are under threat from the new age of openness and freedom.
These hidden empires depend on secrecy to maintain their dominance of our society. Because their interests do not accord with that of the common man they must keep these plans secret, hidden behind the veneer of public events.
A whole web of interlaced mutually beneficial relationships, designed to maintain the existing status quo and continue the dominance of the current masters, is in place but it this which is weakened and frayed by losing control of new markets they are unable to "buy out".
