People who vilify Islam are part of the problem and not part of the solution.
We need unity not division. Islam is a part of the social fabric
in many areas of the world and to label it all as evil because of the actions
of groups of fanatics is a mistake, in my view.
We want to get moderate Muslims on side, not at war with us,
and the way to do this is to treat them with dignity and respect.
Projecting our fear and malice onto Muslims only results in a
downward spiral for all involved and divides society rather
than healing it, as is needed.
