I'm not trying to reach die hard materialists

I'm not trying to convince die hard materialists of anything-
  after all they are quite happy to believe that we are just lumps of matter
   mysteriously created by an uncaring universe
 with individual and collective extinction as our certain end.

I wouldn't want to rain on their "parade"
  and anyway they are so happy with their beliefs
   that they are unreachable, anyway!
